After Care
Proper aftercare is crucial for the appearance and durability of your new eyebrows, whether you've had Microblading, Powder Brows, or Combo Brows. Please read the following instructions carefully. Note that acne medications, treatments, and peels can cause premature fading of the tattoo, and retinol/retinA should not be applied on or near eyebrows.
Healing Instructions
Do's and Dont's
Eye Liner Healing- Expect some swelling and heavy lids, even if they don't look too swollen.- Use sterile water and cotton gauze to clean the area.- Keep the area dry for 10 days and avoid makeup, creams, and mascara.- You can use ice packs to reduce swelling but don't scratch or pick at the area.- The pigment will fade as scabs fall off, but it will gradually return over the next 4 weeks.
Avoid:
Considerations for maintaining the quality of micro-pigmentation include avoiding sun or salon tanning, exposure to UV/UVA rays or chemicals, laser or chemical treatments, and creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid. Additionally, picking, peeling, or scratching the area should be avoided to prevent scarring or removal of the pigment. Other activities to avoid include heavy household cleaning, excessive alcohol consumption, and touching the eyebrow area except for rinsing and applying post-care cream with a cotton swab. Finally, driving in open-air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles should be done with caution.
